Whatever it is called, one thing is for certain: God is pouring out His abundant Grace in these times.
Our ministry and meetings have been experiencing a manifestation of God's power which he called prophetically, "The Baptism of Fire" since 1993. To read the Prophecy and explanation click on the banner below and come back. These little testimonies will make more sense then.

Birmingham - England.

Eddie shares the vision and prophecy in Birmingham, England during 1993. This is the first time this message was preached after receiving the vision and prophecy in Perth a few weeks previously. "I was invited to England but didn't know what I was to preach on. That night I knew the Baptism of Fire was for England!" During that mission a fire was ignited in Birmingham at the heart of England as God had said it would. The following year the so-called Toronto Blessing swept through the whole country. The Lord had said in Perth, "No one will take notice in the early days for who considers a puff of smoke here and there. When they see the hills blazing then they will say, 'We have revival'. But then they will not remember the match that lit it".

Dear All,

The prayer meeting on Thursdays at the Abbey, Erdington, continue to give us the opportunity to praise our Lord with every part of our being, song, dance, intellect and emotions as a congregation. Why else would we keep coming? We are rewarded by the Lord's presence there. We must be doing something right, or why else would He keep coming too?

Some meetings are especially powerful. You can always tell which ones they are, as they are confirmed by the congregation. One such prayer meeting was on July 15th. 1993, when two Evangelists from Australia, Eddie Russell and Guy Sutton-Mattocks came to tell us about their "Set My People On Fire" Ministry. We knew instinctively, that what they were saying was important. We have been Baptized by water, by the Holy Spirit and have given our hearts to Jesus. But they seemed to understand that some of us were fumbling for the next step and for motivation. We lacked some vital ingredient. Was this perhaps the answer to our impasse? They believed it so be so.

When we were invited by them to be Baptized by Fire, they first made it quite clear to us that we would receive, or not receive this blessing, only as our Lord saw fit and, that it came from Him and not from them. I believe the whole congregation came forward eagerly to receive this ministry. There were too many of us to be prayed with by Eddie and Guy, so many of us received it via our own Leaders.

I don't know whether it was Baptism or not that I received. I didn't go down onto the floor, but it seemed to me that I did go up very high above the singing and the chatter, to a place of complete light, and exquisite purity. Oh, to have been allowed to stay. When I heard that the same Evangelist would be preaching at St. Mary's and St. John's, I was determined to go. It was to be a Healing Service, and after Eddie gave an excellent lecture on redemption, he invited us to claim it for our individual healing. Again, there were too many of us to be ministered to by them, so our Leaders ministered to many of us and we received great blessings that evening.

It was great Providence having these two Evangelists, Eddie and Guy come to our prayer meetings. They opened up areas in us for personal growth, a new confidence and, motivation to go forward.

Prophecy Sparks a Revival Fire in Africa from this Web Site - Even Witch Doctors catch the Fire.

Gabriel Roberts is a young man in Tanzania in Africa who read the "Set My People On Fire" Prophecy published on this Site. It so anointed him that he held a Day of Renewal and his whole meeting including witch doctors experienced the "Baptism of Fire".

THIS IS HIS TESTIMONY:

Hello brother Russell,

My name is Gabriel Robert. I am 32 years old and married to Witness. On September 9th 1998 on the Feast of Our Lady, God blessed us with our first born baby. We called her Mary Immaculate for the honour of our Lady. Professionally, I am an Electrical Engineer working in the Telecommunication Company as a Switching Engineer. In 1994 I was terribly sick. Every part of my body was sick including digestion problems. I used all sorts of medicines but in vain. I also contacted Witch Doctors but they also failed to solve my problem. Finally, I recalled the old Bible stories about miracles performed by Jesus. I started ask myself why I have never seen priests pray for the sick with faith? They just anoint them with oil and giving them a word of encouragement. Then I took a Bible and started my journey towards healing. God gave me the passage psalm 143 which expressed exactly what was happening in my life.

Early one morning while I was still sleeping, I experienced the Supernatural Power of God touching my body with small flames of fire. I was excited and suddenly I was led into Praising. That was the end of my first problem. After that I joined a CCR prayer group. From that time I began telling people about Jesus, and God has been healing many of them. Last year we received an invitation to preach to a Girls Secondary School. It was a Boarding School and the time given is every Friday from 7.30pm to 9.30 pm. Then, through that ministry after much prayer followed by reading the FMI "Set My People On Fire Prophecy" I decided to call a Renewal Day. The title of the topic for discussion was, "Set My People On Fire."

This is how it started. We began at 9.00am to 6.45pm and the whole room was filled by the presence of God. After finishing the formation part of the day, we started the prayer part by Praising and Worshipping the Lord. I took a burning candle as a sign of fire (light of the nations that no power of darkness can overcome). When I was moving through the crowd with the candle, people started falling down. Others began speaking in Tongues and others began laughing. People began receiving messages from the Lord and others experienced light and the burning of fire (of God).

One lady was told by the Lord that her mother, who had suffered from a long illness since 1986 was healed. Another lady was shown an envelope with Arabic script which was burnt by the fire: Her step mother is involved in Occult. One lady was chosen to spread the Gospel to all people of good will. The Lord showed another lady the background of her life. No one was left an untouched, and for some, this was the first time in Charismatic Prayer Meeting.

Brother Eddie that happened just yesterday 17/10/98. I feel the Fire is still burning in my heart. The door has opened for preaching and there are many people who want to hear the Word of God. I want to spend the rest of my energy for Jesus. I really need your prayer.

Singapore youth receive the Baptism of Fire.
We were blessed in Singapore on a preaching mission when, during November 1995 around sixty to eighty young people experienced this anointing on the last night of their Annual Retreat.

On the last day the leaders finally asked if we would share the message with them at the last session of their annual retreat. We gladly did so as the Lord had said that he wanted a revival fire to spread from the youth throughout the whole peninsula. After sharing the vision and prophecy a time of ministry was called and God powerfully anointed each and every one: Revival Fire had come to Singapore.
