On 17th March 1999 on week two of Set My People On Fire, I felt a lump in my left breast too large to ignore. I went to my doctor that morning and she immediately referred me for an ultrasound. While waiting for my appointment, I went home to tidy the house to keep my mind off the ultrasound. As I picked up a toy from the floor, my eyes focused on a video about Padre Pio entitled, "Pray, Hope and Don't Worry".

This video had been stored away for months and months. My husband, I later found out, had put it in the VCR the night before I had discovered the lump. I took this as an encouraging sign from the Lord and, that is exactly what I did: I prayed, hoped and, as much as I could, I didn't worry. Now it was time for the ultrasound. During the ultrasound I began to feel very fearful. I closed my eyes and said a heartfelt prayer, "Jesus please help me, and please help the doctor." The moment I said the prayer I felt the most overwhelming sense of peace and presence of Jesus with me.

The ultrasound over, I waited to collect the report. It read, "A collection of simple cysts: 20.7 x 9.5mm - 20.8 x 3.9mm - 2.2 x 3.5mm - 12.2 x 3.3mm" - Simple cysts or not, I did not want them there! After collecting the report I went to my car where I couldn't help but feel for the lumps again. They were not there! You can imagine how happy I was and immediately I started thanking God and Jesus, and went straight home to tell my husband.

Later, I spoke to the doctors receptionist. I was advised to return for a repeat ultrasound in three months time to check on something else that the ultrasound had picked up. The morning of 10th June 1999, week 14 of SMPOF and the day of the repeat ultrasound arrived, I opened my drawer to get my clothes out, when, onto the floor flopped a Padre Pio prayer card which, was not put there by my husband! Again, I was being reminded: Pray, Hope, and Don't worry! I had the repeat ultrasound. The report reads: "There are no present signs of a solid or cystic structure."

I was, and I still am, overjoyed! I thank Jesus that He answered my prayer so immediately. I think it's no mere coincidence that this all happened during the Set My People On Fire Seminar. I'm am so grateful to you all for your dedication and commitment to Our Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and to the Catholic Church.

The seminar assisted me in standing on God's Word for his perfect plan for all parts of my life, unwaveringly. My whole family has been blessed through me doing the course. My husband and the children just love hearing about what happens on those Wednesday nights. My son, 7 years old, suggested I could do the course all over again so that I can teach him even more next time. I am being given many opportunities to talk to people about Jesus (one to one) and also to pray for others. You may also be interested to know that my lifelong nail-biting habit was broken during the seminar too.

I am sure all this was due to some inner healing brought about by the topics that were covered and also your powerful prayers. Set My People On Fire is truly inspiring, life giving and life opening. THANK YOU. May God continue to bless you abundantly.
