A Message from the Pastor.
The Parish Day of Renewal we had on Saturday 10 June was an eagerly anticipated time of blessing. There is so much more that God wants to do in our lives than most Christians experience.Eddie Russell gave his first address. He spoke on "Faith" as being the key to unlocking the 33,000 promises of God. We either believe in God's Word or we don't. If we believe we will receive what God promises. The second session of teaching was given by Frank Tassone. Frank spoke from his heart about "Love" and everyone listened intently. The Spirit of God was present and touched people as they came forward for ministry. Alan and Anna Mitchel who were only there for the morning, were ministered to. Alan was visibly affected by the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon him.
I was baptised in the Holy Spirit when the Renewal Movement swept the Perth Churches in the early seventies. It was great to see parishioners having that Pentecost experience here at our Church of the Holy Family, Yokine. The day began with music led by our music group "Inner Chord". I felt free to sing in Tongues and others joined in. After the praise session there was a deep sense of peace.
The afternoon sessions on "Adoption" and "Maturity" climaxed with an invitation to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and come forward and exercise the Gift of Tongues. The power of God was visibly manifest on all who came forward. Everyone who came forward eventually spoke in Tongues. Most, if not all were shaking. Eleanor Ward fell backwards "slain" in the Spirit. Eleanor has been transformed by her experience and Bob Donald is visibly refreshed and more joyful; he was amazed at what he experienced.
The evening session was on "Evangelism" and was given by Eddie Russell. Eddie shared his own experiences of evangelism and spoke of what the Holy Spirit is doing in the world today. In the ministry time I felt a great sense of peace and felt the fire of God burning in my heart. To my left, my wife Nhi was laughing uncontrollably and clapping her hands. I recognised this as the "Toronto Blessing", but what I desired was for the fire of God to purify my heart. Again and again the musicians played "Refiners Fire". It was a tremendous day, my only sadness was that not all were open to receive God's anointing.

Spalding's Day of Renewal in East Anglia, England.
I attended the Flame Ministries Day of Renewal at my parish church (St. Norbet's, Spalding) and I want to thank you for a marvellous day, especially for the teachings and the witness of the team who led the day.
Eddie Conducts a session at Spalding's Day of renewal UK. This was the first time Flame One was conducted.
It has since been preached in Malaysia, Australia and England.
